Cars blast around a track that literally crosses itself at the center, meaning drivers aren't just racing the clock — they're racing each other through the intersection, trading paint and nerves every single lap. There's nothing else like it.

The people behind this event have lived and breathed this sport for decades. From watching their first Figure 8 race as a kid to wrenching on cars in the garage, to building and driving their own machines on North Iowa dirt tracks, this is more than a job — it's a lifelong passion. And now they're bringing all of that experience, energy, and love for the sport straight to the Franklin County Fair.
